In this section we describe ways of tuning language resources in the REST API (DCS).
The language resources section
already introduced the role and importance of tuning language components properly.
In the DCS, all language resources are pulled out from the default JARs and reside under the
dcs/web/service/resources path, relative to DCS distribution package.
The default resources are not used as a fallback,
so all required resource files need to be copied to the DCS in order to work.
For example, to tune the label filtering dictionary for the English language, you'd modify the
dcs/web/service/resources/english.labels.json file and edit
the label filtering rules contained there.
Changes to language resource files are not automatically detected or reloaded, a server restart is required for changes to take effect.
